Rant!

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way??

I can't stand when people feel as if their opinion is the ONLY right one. As if because I feel a certain way about something I'm in the wrong and I'll be punished for it. Yes, you have quotes and research from a million different people that back up what you say. But there are also a million other people that feel the exact opposite. And just because that group of people didn't write a book or give a public speech or become prophets, teachers or celebrities, etc. doesn't make their opinion any less valuable! You don't see me going and ragging on every opinion you have that doesn't match mine, do you? No! Because I respect everyone's own thoughts and actions. So please show me the same respect that I show you. Thank you and good-freakin-night!

*End of rant*

Whew now I feel better. =) I just needed to get it off my chest without anyone judging or being biased about the situation. Thank you blog journal thingy!

Mother-In-Law

Just thinking about how grateful I am to have such an awesome Mother-In-Law.

That is one thing I feared before I got married (when I was 🎶Young, Free & Single🎶) is if I was going to get along with my in-laws. Yikes!

Fortunately, I met my best friend & love of my life and he has a great family. Of course they're not perfect...but shiiiii, who is?!? They're just perfect AND crazy enough to be in my life. =)

Growing up I saw so many relationships between women and their m-i-l's that were so bad that it not only effected the wife's marriage or the husband and mother's relationship but also the children between them as well. Smh all bad, huh? Haha My family is far from perfect but hell what can you do, right? Lol

But we've been using a lot of our free time driving down to Spring City (approx 2 hours from where we live) and spending some QT with her. She's going through a lot of personal things right now and what she needs is our support and unconditional love. "No judging, just loving!" From day one she's always welcomed and loved me with wide opened arms and boy was that a relief for me when we got married.

Almost 5 years later and we're closer than we've ever been. She's teaching me to quilt, we both love cowboy caviar (but it has to be from Terrell's), we have our own one-on-one personal and inspirational talks & of course we always laugh together!

Thank you Mom for being such a great woman and another wonderful mother in my life. I love you.

..Father's Day Weekend..

This past weekend we decided to spend in Spring City at my in-law's home. It had been a while since we were there and I thought it would be a good idea for my husband to spend Fathers Day around his family instead of mine for a change; I'm SO glad we did. We had one of the best weekends together in a long time. We didn't do much but the company was great and let me tell you...mostly farms/ranches, it's beautiful! My mother-in-law is the cutest lady. I'm thankful to have been blessed with awesome in-laws! Not very many people can say that. =) Unfortunately my father-in-law wasn't there to celebrate Fathers Day with us due to work out of town, but we were definitely thinking about him. My sister-in-law Whitney and her husband John joined us for our last night there and it made it even more fun. We played a couple of games of Sequence (Stephan *our nephew that lives with my MIL* and I were on a team; won one & lost one). Then of course the usual "talk stories" until we were all ready to hit the sheets. Of course all weekend long was filled with family, laughter & ALWAYS great food!

{our walk around the block in Spring City}

Before I end this post I just wanted to wish a couple of "main men" in my life a happy Fathers Day!

My Daddy-Ricc Muasau
My FIL-Jeffrey Bleyl
My Momma (she played BOTH roles as a single parent raising 6 kids)-Ramona Muasau
My Uncles (who stepped up as father figures in my life when my dad wasn't around)-Pala Vaitu'u, Evans Iosua & Marvin Iloilo *r.i.p*
My Bruvs-Myles Muasau & Chase Muasau
>>last but not least<<
My Hubby-Joseph Bleyl ..we don't have kids of our own but thank you for always being there for our nieces and nephews whenever they need or want something. I know you'll make a GREAT daddy someday. I love you..

Let the fun times roll

The weather has warmed up...too dang much if you ask me & the kids are getting out of school. In other words...summer time is quickly approaching. Our family is going CAMPING! Bear Lake here we come. Our poor neighbor campers are gonna wanna strangle us because our family is SO dang loud, but whatevz. We're gonna have some FUN! =)

Tis the June season

Graduations!!

One down...a million more to go. Haha but here are the ones I'm actually attending:

Monday was Marvin's 1st grade graduation. He looked so happy and handsome.

Thursday is MarshallFaulk's 6th grade promotion. Yay! On to Jr. High. No longer a baby =(
{we ended up not going to Marshall's promotion because I had to work and by the time I got off to go see him, he already left to celebrate with his friends/family}

Friday was Marli's kindergarten graduation. My goodness how time flies. She's so smart!

***Side note***
I cannot stand making candy leis. Lol!
Good thing I was able to knock em all out while working the night audit shift this week.
#TeamMultitask

(I'll post the other grad pics on a later post or update this one to include them)

xoxo

Let's try this again!

Okay, so I've really been into reading a person's blog that for sure doesn't know who the heck I even am. If you would like to follow Jamie click here. =) While going through her posts (do I sound like a stalker? Eek!) I noticed that it seemed as if she posted when an event took place or if there was something on her mind. Her posts aren't UBER looonnnggg like mine. Which I think is the reason I tend to just STOP blogging. I felt that if I was gonna blog about something, I had to tell the whole story and explain everything..."ain't nobody got time for that." Lol so I'm attempting to blog again but from a whole different perspective. Wish me luck!

Cancer Sucks!!

Welp, a lot of things have happened in exactly a month...both my Aunty Eda & my Aunty Lisa lost their battles to cancer...and within 5 DAYS of each other. Talk about emotions!!

Unfortunately because Aunty Eda's funeral took place 3 days after she passed (that's how I like it) and she lived in California, I wasn't able to make it to her services. From the videos I've seen and stories I heard...everything was beautiful! But I was definitely there in spirit =) #TeamEda #TeamLimeGreen

Now on the other hand...since Aunty Lisa lived here in Utah, of course I was there to say my last goodbyes. Aunty Eda's funeral services were Sunday night and Monday morning. Tuesday morning is when Aunty Lisa passed. We knew the time was going to come...eventually, but nobody knew it would be THAT soon. And although we were expecting it to happen sometime sooner or later, it doesn't make it any better. Someone could have told me the exact date and time she was going to "go", but in all actuality you're NEVER really emotionally prepared. It's hard on your mind and body regardless!!

The funeral services were on Thursday night and Friday morning. Thursday was more of a life 'celebration' (indeed it was...singing/dancing, etc). Friday's services were simply beautiful!! We laughed, we cried, we sang and of course we ATE. Her final resting place is in Bountiful right next to the temple. The view is crazy pretty and although its way far, we know exactly why she chose that specific place. #TeamLisa #TeamPurple

Of course when "tragedy" strikes we get to see our family from near and far. It was so awesome to see everyone. Even my cousin Kimmie and her amazing parents came for the funeral. =) She is simply so amazing and beautiful!! It sucks that it takes hard times like these to bring us together, but that's life I guess and I'm going to try to change that!! =)

Even though some of our family members have passed on, I'm so grateful to have been born and raised in a religion where we can all be together again someday through the plan of salvation. Families truly are forever and eternal! Now it's OUR turn to do our work and make sure that there are "No Empty Chairs". *My mommy's favorite quote*

Enjoy the people you have in your life and cherish EVERY moment you have with them, because life is SO short and tomorrow is never promised.

I love my family!!
Xoxo

...fyi...

Okay, so I wrote my last post about a week or so ago and I was meaning to post it then, but I kept forgetting to take a pic of the huge MESS of a house I have. So an update to my last post...

*My husband got the job at WCF and started this week...he loves it so far and he feels like this company has a lot to offer him/us. The benefits are amazeballs (even better than my job's...I didn't think that was possible, but it is what it is). I'm happy that he's happy!! ♥

*Aunty Lisa was discharged from IMC and was home for about a week until this past Sunday when she was rushed to St. Marks Hospital because of a blood clot in her lung that caused her heart rate to sky rocket. We went to visit her last night. I can't believe that in such a short amount of time, how much her health/energy has plummeted. She even talks differently now...saying she's just so tired and is ready to just "go". We were all in the room (the tiniest of rooms by the way) and I couldn't help but cry, so I had to excuse myself to the restroom. My emotions are all out of whack right now. I can't help but think about my Aunty Blue =,( All I can do is pray that our Heavenly Father takes her pain away and trust that the plan of salvation will bring us all together again someday. Aunty Eda (in Cali) is in the same position (health wise) as Aunty Lisa, but she is immobile. She's staying in a hospice care place for the time being. I wish I could be with her too. It really makes me want to take care of my body from now on. I need to lost weight and get healthy...ASAP!!

*My house is still a hot mess!! Lol no joke. We have exactly 9 days til our move and I'm super ecstatic, but at the same time really stressed (financially). I know that it'll all work out though >>keeping the faith<<

*Just want to throw in that I absolutely LOVE my family. I know that we all don't see/do things the same, but we've been through ups & downs, thicks & thins, rain & shine. I'm glad I have them all in my life here on earth and the life after. I don't ever want to take them for granted!!

Be Happy xoxo

Balancing...LIFE!!

Yup!! That's how my house is looking right now. It's horrible! I hate clutter and not being organized...so all this "stuff" everywhere tends to put me in a bad mood and I find myself locking myself in my room most of the time. Not only that, but my apartment complex wants to do all this maintenance crap right in the middle of my move. What's up with that?!? All I can do is take it one day at a time. Other than that, life is good. Still working and packing.

Speaking of work...my husband interviewed for a job position at WCF. He wants to start working 2 jobs so that we can get all of our debt taken care of. Not sure how I feel about him doing it because we hardly see each other as it is. Not saying that one is more important than the other, it's just hard to balance family, work and church as it stands now. I don't know how we'll do it if he works 2 jobs. We'll just have to wait and see what the verdict is. I appreciate my husband and all that he does. He's an amazing man!!

On the other side of working and moving...we've been trying to spend as much time with my Aunty Lisa. She is battling terminal cancer and although her spirits are VERY high, her body seems to be wanting to go the other direction. She has been through chemo and radiation and is still trying to fight. She was just released from the hospital a couple of days ago after being in there for over a week. As if cancer isn't hard enough to fight, she has a large mass in her stomach that is growing and causing her a ton of pain. I hate seeing her hurt and she doesn't like to see people feel sorry for her, so we all try to be strong with her. The doctors basically told her that there wasn't anything else that they could do for her but make her comfortable. They insisted on her going home and being on hospice (giving her 6 months or less), but she decided to continue to fight and go to the Huntsman Center. After a couple days, she changer her mind and decided to go ahead with hospice and she's now home. I wish I didn't have to work so much...that way I can spend more time with her. The few days off that I have from work, I try to do all the duty's of a wife...laundry, packing, cooking, cleaning, bills, etc. and by the time I'm done with those things, I find myself back at work NOT having gone to visit Aunty Lisa. I've cried so much lately just thinking about my Aunty Blue, Aunty Lisa & Aunty Eda and all that they have gone and are going through. I don't know any other way to cope with it besides crying...and sleeping. I hope and pray that her spirits will continue to be lifted and whatever our Heavenly Father's plan is for Aunty Lisa, I hope that she doesn't have to suffer with pain and she may know how much she is loved.

I guess that's it for now. =) Keep smiling and BE HAPPY!!

Watch Out Now...Here's An Update!! Lol

Helllooooooo again!! Lol I'm horrible at this, but please bare with me...

So far this year is FLYING by! I'm not really sure how I feel about that. The summer heat is totally kicking my butt!! I told my husband that I don't think I've ever been so excited to go to work so that I can sit in a freezing office all day. =)

On the other hand, the faster the year goes...the faster I'll be able to see my Daddy and lil sibz this winter. We'll be meeting up with them in Vegas and then coming back home on a lil "stay-cation" just to catch up on life. I can't wait!! It's been almost 3 years since we've seen my Dad and ages long since we've seen my baby sister (never met my baby bruv yet). I'm sure we're all gonna have a blast!!

Life so far is going okay...work, family, church, holidays, etc...

We are expecting some new babies in our family soon (NOT from me though lol). My brother Chase & sister-in-law Davynna are due in November with a little baby boy; and my cousins Josh & Lini are also expecting a little baby boy...YESTERDAY (but still no luck yet). We're all just playing the good ol' waiting game. Yay for new babies to spoil =)

Me and my household are in the process of packing up our home...we finally made the decision to split our household up again. Therefore, we are moving from ONE 3-bedroom, 2-bath apt to TWO 2-bedroom, 1-bath apts. My husband and I have been thinking about it a lot in the past couple of weeks and we've come to the conclusion that we really need our own space again. It was really only 5 months after we moved out of my family's home and on our own that my Mom and 3 little siblings moved in with us. I LOVE having them with us, but after 2 years...I think it's time that things change for my husband and I. Now even though we'll be in separate apts, we're still going to be very close to each other (literally, neighbors). Which we absolutely DO NOT mind. As long as they have theirs and we have ours, everything is GOOD!! It was a hard decision to come to because in our culture, it is the oldest daughter's responsibility to take care of her parents. I even told my Mom that that was what I plan to do in the future, but for the time being when she still has 3 teenage kids with her and my husband and I not being able to experience the newlywed life on our own at all...that's what should be a priority in our lives first and then once we've taken care of all of that, then we can look forward to her staying with us again. I know she's kind of nervous about being on her own again, but we've made sure that she stays really close to us so that if or when she should need anything, we'll be right there for her. I was really scared and worried that once we brought up the idea of us moving into separate apts, she would feel neglected or abandoned...which is the last thing we wanted and if she was NOT okay with being on her own, we would not move forward with the plans and look for different options. But fortunately after some crying, laughing and story telling, she said it was fine. So here we are...PACKING! Not knowing when we're going to move because we're waiting for 2 apts to become available close to each other...is a pain in the muli. So I've decided to pack everything that we don't use or need, that way when we do find out a specific date, we can just call the movers and we'll be done. Finito. I'm so grateful to have my Mom so close to us...we LOVE her and her crazy spirit!!

Moving on...4th of July just passed. We were invited to a family/friends BBQ by Aunty Goober. I was really excited to go watch the firework show with my family because we usually spend this specific holiday with my in-laws. But this was a good change =) I'm glad we got to hang out at the park to laugh, eat, sing, eat, go to the carnival, eat and just enjoy each other's company...oh and EAT again. Lol the firework show was REALLY nice!! I miss watching a firework show like that. It was a whole 30-35 minutes long. We had a really great time and I'm glad my husband enjoyed himself as well.

So...I guess that's all for now. Hopefully I can keep up this time. My cousin Lini is gonna have to keep on me to update on here every so often, because she's really good at it. =) We'll shall see...but, until next time...LATERS!!  <----If you've ever read 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' you'll know where I got that from...(excellent book btw) ;)

The Little Things

When I sit and think about how stressed I am with...LIFE,
it's the little things that I tend to forget.
I have to realize them and be grateful for them.

* Another beautiful day *
Some people weren't able to do that...just...wake up.
LIFE IS TOO SHORT!!
Don't take a day for granted.

* My husband *
I am the luckiest woman...EVER!!
I have an eternal companion
A husband that holds and is worthy of his priesthood.
One that goes to work every single day to provide for NOT just me,
but MY family too. What kind of man is okay with providing for his in-laws??
Lol...there's not many out there like that & I'm proud to say that MINE is one-of-a-kind.
He does everything in his power to make me happy, he believes that "A happy wife, is a happy life". =)
He makes me smile/laugh every single day.
I cherish the time he takes to give me a kiss EVERY morning before leaving to work...
even when he's running late.
He is my everything...I love you,
♥Joseph Christopher Bleyl♥

* My family & friends *
I am fortunate enough to be very family oriented;
and blessed enough to have great friends.
My Momma is still here with me and recently I have come to realize how much I NEED her here.
She is my rock & my inspiration. I'd be lost without her. I ♥ her soooo much!!
I have all of my siblings,
and with them...thee BEST nieces and nephews.
My friends are always by my side...
whether its been a couple hours or a couple of years since we've last spoken,
I know that no matter how long it's been,
that the next time I see or talk to them,
we'll pick up just where we left off.

* The gospel *
Isn't this everyone's blessing?!?
We'd all be lost without it.
I love my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.
I'm thankful for the plan of salvation;
to know that we can be with our loved ones again.
Families truly are forever!

* My job *
There are countless people who don't have jobs.
Who can't provide for their families;
and therefore don't have food in their tummies or clothes on their backs.
No matter how hard my job is,
how difficult/annoying/obnoxious a guest is being,
how long of a day it is...
I'm grateful to be able to assist my husband in taking care of our responsibilities.
Can't forget the amazing benefits =)
Knowing that if my husband or I get sick,
we can go to the Dr's office and not worry about paying a "million" dollars.
Also, the hotel discounts...those are always AMAZE-BALLS too!! =)

* To be free *
I'm so proud to be an american!!
In our country we have freedom...not many other countries do.
I'm very grateful for our soldiers that have lost and put their lives on the line for ME.
We are the land of the free
 and I'm going to make darn sure everyone knows that I'm happy to be a citizen of the
United States Of America!!

What are some of the things that you tend to forget in your everyday lives?
Think about it... =)

I love my life...everyone AND everything in it!!

Story Of My Life

"ONLY AN AUNTIE...
Can love you like a mommy,
Keep secrets like a sister,
Behave like a true friend
& can kick your butt if needed!"

Let me be completely honest with you, I really can not wait to have kids of my own. My husband on the other hand...I'm sure he can wait for a while longer (even though he tells me different). Which is probably the reason why Heavenly Father hasn't blessed us with any yet, because He knows that one of us isn't quite ready. I am in no way pushing or forcing it on my husband because I know that someday-sooner or later-our time for babies will come. I trust that my Father in Heaven will send them to us when we're both good and ready. =)

Because truth be told, financially, we're far from being ready. People tell us all the time, "What are you guys waiting for? If it's to be financially steady, it's NEVER gonna happen." Which is true. You'll never have enough money unless you're a millionaire...and let's face, we are nowhere close to that. In fact, we're quite the opposite. Haha but money isn't what makes US work. We live with what we have and try to count the blessings we are blessed with daily. It's easy to forget how much we truly have when we're worried about worldy things. Another thing, we really enjoy our alone time. Not having to look for a babysitter when we wanna go out. We like our freedom to up and go without having to worry about if it'll be okay for the babies or not, etc. So that's another reason why we're not too bummed about being "late" parents. =) Even though we dated for 5 years prior to getting married, and have been married for almost 2 years, we're still learning so much about each other. So we have confidence that the Lord knows what he's doing. He's telling us, "Fear not. Trust in me." That...we are doing. =)

But the saying above inspired me to post a blog because since I'm not a Mom at the moment, I can still be the BEST Auntie to my nieces and nephews that I can be. So this is to all my babies...

Delynna Aso-Rae
Marvin Gafatasi
Marli K
Riverlina Lise
Chubba (Pesi) Eteuati
Mahonri Moriancumer

I love you all so very much. You mean the world to me and even when I have kids of my own, you guys will still hold a very special place in my heart. I'm always here if you need me and I'll also always be here to kick you in the rear when you need it. Follow your dreams, always remember where you come from and who you represent.

Love Always,
Aunty Chrislynn

P.S.
A big thank you to my brothers and their wives for letting us borrow their kids whenever we want!!

I ♥ My Family!!

Okay, so I guess we can all say that I am NO GOOD at keeping up with blogging. LOL

It's summa summa summa time...and I hate it. I've never been one to like the heat. I am truly my father's daughter!! Yes, I love the beach and sunny California, but being here in Utah where there is NO beach...it is NO BUENO!!

I usually like to take my nieces and nephews to California for our annual Fuimaono family reunion, but since we were unable to make it there this year...this was my alternative. If you don't already know, my nieces & nephews are my life (after my husband of course). Since we don't have children of our own, we like to spoil them as if they are ours. So I recently planned a "fun" day for my family (Me & my Hubby, Momma, my siblings and their families) to go to our local water park called Cowabunga Bay.

We've never been there before and we didn't know anyone who had gone yet either. So we were completely clueless as to what to expect. I had planned it for Sunday, July 24th (which here in Utah is a holiday called Pioneer Day).  Being LDS...we are supposed to be in church on Sundays!! Yes we already know...but I figured that Sunday would be the best day to go because we all had the day off and I wanted to beat the holiday rush that they would have on Monday. So we did it!! We broke the sabbath to go to the water park. The way I look at it is...if you're spending quality time together as a family and you remember to always keep in mind our Heavenly Father and his many blessings, it shouldn't matter what day it is. But to each his own!!

*This was the end of the day...but it's the best pic with all of us in it (except me)*

Anyways, we got there at around 10am (the park doesn't open til 11am, but we wanted to get a really good spot...again, I'm like my Daddy). We were the first in line...yippee!! If we can only be on time to everything else. Haha The kids were so excited to go inside...and that alone made my day. After all, I did plan it with them in mind...so it was all for my babies!! We all had our new SWIMSUITS on (that was a HUGE surprise to us and was VERY different because we're so used to wearing tank tops or t-shirts with basketball shorts to go swimming). But we rolled with it and we were feeling GREAT!! (That is until we saw all of our pictures at the end of the day...but that's a different subject for a different day!!) LOL =) We finally went in and got a really good spot (btw, this palagi family heard us talking about it and tried to outrun us to our spot...I was thinking, you're kidding me right?!? Well, sorry bout it cuz we got it. Lol). The only downer to our party, was that we were missing *Marli K* (she's spending the summer with her "other-one" Aunty NaeNae in California) & our Daddy, *Ricc Muasau* (he lives in New Zealand) =( But we made the best of it and had enough fun for everyone!! The babies were everywhere and had smiles on their faces all day.

 *Mahonri Moriancumer*
 *Delynna Aso-Rae*
 *Marvin Gafatasi w/River*
 *Riverlina Lise*
*Pesi Eteuati...aka CHUBBA*

We all had soooo much fun and we decided that we would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. We (as in us adults) got really sun burnt and are still suffering from it...but all agreed that it was well worth it. I love my family to pieces and would do anything for them. It's the little things that count and matter most...and sometimes it's also the big things that make it worth it as well.

Therefore, since summer vacation is almost over...I've planned for the rest of our family (all of us, Mom's sisters and their whole families) to go as well!! So if nothing else...I'll for sure be back on here to post that up in 2 weeks. Wish us luck!!

Prince!!

I missed a call from Aunty Goob when I was sleeping after I got home from work this morning/afternoon and she left me a voicemail about tonight's football game, Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Brighton Bengals. Not only was it LT, DT and Malu's senior night, but it was also their homecoming game. She wanted to let Joseph and I know so that we can go and show some support if we were available. Unfortunately, my Husband had to work late. Luckily Mom stopped at the house before going to the game, so I went and rode with her. I was so excited to go see the boys play. It's been so long since I've gone to a high school football game and I miss it so much.

Anywho, the boys did so well!! We were sitting with our long lost cousins, the Laulu's. We (meaning Aunty Goob, Mom & Irene) were cheering so loud. I tried to join in with them, but I could feel a headache coming on from me yelling...so I took a seat and sat there looking "pretty". Ha!

Too bad we missed the boys' senior night recognition, but we were able to catch everything else. One which was being able to see LT ride on the back of a sparkling red convertible to be announced as Jordan's 2010 Homecoming PRINCE!! It was amazing to see one of our boys as part of the homecoming royalty. My eyes were starting to tear up as he was going around the field and I look over at Mom to see her bawling her eyeballs out. Buncha crybabies I tell ya...we must get that from my Papa Gafa...LOL.

We're so proud of the boys. They did a great job and fought for the win. I hope we'll be able to watch my brothers play next year. I'm so thankful for my family...they make my life complete!!

Annoyance (is that a word?)

So I'm sitting here trying to re-do my blog design (it's 4am by the way); I'm going through some of the blogs that I follow and I run into a photographer named Kayleen T's blog. I start going through her recent work and RIGHT AWAY I get annoyed because there's this couple's wedding she photographed, that happened to get married in the same temple my Husband and I got married in. So I'm browsing and browsing...and browsing and the more I go on, I keep getting more and more upset because these pictures are SPECTACULAR!! The photos she got made me feel as though I was there at that wedding. I can feel the love and happiness of their special day by just looking at those photos.

Well the reason why I'm so pissed/angry/upset/mad/hurt/betrayed/annoyed, etc is because the so-called photographer that we hired to photograph our wedding (which is what?? the most important day of people's lives) STILL to this day has NOT given us a single picture that she was supposed to have captured. Luckily for us, she had another photographer there to assist her. He was so kind enough to edit some of the photos he took of us at the temple and give it to us FREE of charge...and if it weren't for him (Alvin Ahquin-thank you so much), we wouldn't have a single photo of our special day. Unfortunately he wasn't able to make it to the reception, so we have absolutely nothing from it. Yeah I know some people are probably thinking, "but that's not the special part of a wedding. It's the vows and yadda yadda..." I know, I know...but it just irritates me to know that someone can be so heartless and take the money that was paid to them to do a job and they never complete it, yet still keep the money!!

It's upsetting because that's a day that we can't relive, a day we can't go back on and moments that we won't be able to capture and show pictures to our kids or our grandkids about the day we became eternal companions. My Husband feels it best that we file a lawsuit against her, but being from the cultural background that I'm from, we're just not used to doing that to other people (especially from the same culture). Not only that, but she was actually referred to us by one of my family members; so that would be awkward in the future, right? Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Until then, I've got to keep myself grounded and look at the positive side of things. My Husband and I are and will always be together forever and ever...with or without those photos!!

An Amazing Milestone

So, yes I'm a little late on updating my blog for this special day (4 days late to be exact). But whatever...moving on. I can't believe that my Hubby and I have already reached our 1 year mark of being married!! It's been a lot of fun. We've learned a WHOLE lot about each other...likes AND dislikes. But as like any other marriage, you learn to live with it and accept them for the person they are. It's the little things that make you who YOU are and vice versa. If those little things change...then of course that person is changing (and sometimes it's NOT always for the good because that's the person you fell in love with from the get-go). So anyways, our anniversary is on September 12th and this year of course it landed on a Sunday. There wasn't much that we could do on the exact day because of work and church and family, etc. So I requested some vacation time off from work a long time ago and I decided to take advantage of it and spend every waking moment I could with my Husband. Since we have Mom and the kids staying with us, we couldn't walk around the house in our G's and serve each other breakfast in bed like we used to when we had the house to ourselves (LOL). That's fine...all's good!! We enjoyed each other's company, laughed (a lot), reminisced (when/how we met, our first date & the many others that followed, our engagement, our wedding, etc), cried (I did at least cuz I'm a crybaby like that & I don't care), watched some tv/movies together and what not. I think those are thee BESTest times that two people can have together and I enjoyed EVERY SINGLE MINUTE!! I love my Husband so much and I am SO grateful for him and ALL he does; because of him we have a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes on our backs, shoes on our feet, the priesthood in our home, each other to hold at night and EVERYTHING else in between. It's definitely been an awesome year of learning and loving...but most of all I can't wait for the many many more years that we have to share together for now and all ETERNITY!! ♥ I love you Babe...♥

Where does time go??

Okay so it seems to me that I only post ONE blog a month. What the...?? I don't even know. But since August is practically dang near over with, I might as well give an update. Can you believe that?? It's almost September!!

Well July was a great month. I took two trips to California during that time!! Yes two. It was hectic and a burden on my Hubby's wallet, but we still managed to get through (thanks to our Father in Heaven for his help and guidance as well as to my loving Husband who put up with it, let alone me). Our 70th Fuimaono Family Reunion was a HIT!! I loved every minute I shared with family from near and far. I also got to spend some time with my Sissy before she went to New Zealand for 3 MONTHS!! All in all, we made it there and back (both times) safe and sound, and let me remind you that there's NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!

Of course when it was time to go back to work, I about DIED!! Haha. But we've all gotta do what we gotta do and jump back into reality (working that is) whether we like it or not. Thankfully, I LOVE my job!!

Hmmm what else has happened?? Oh!! Mom and the kids moved in with Joseph and I. Yeah I know, our house is really, really crowded right now, but I wouldn't have my Mom and siblings anywhere else. Of course I do miss me and my husband's time alone and our house being so quiet, but what can we do. Luckily, we're looking to move into a bigger place once our lease is up. That's the least we (ME especially) can do for ALL the years that Momma has taken care of us as a single parent. I love her so much and I'm grateful to have her be a part of our household.

My husband is TRULY a blessing to me. He has accepted me, my family, our culture and everything else in between with open arms from the day I met him and continues to do so NOW!! I couldn't ask for a husband more loving and giving than him and him alone. He busts his butt to go to work to support not only me, but now my mother and siblings. I know that I can be a BIG pain in his behind about things that shouldn't even matter and we don't really see things "eye-to-eye", but he continues to love me unconditionally. Therefore, I'm so LUCKY to have him as my ETERNAL companion. I love him with all that I have in me and some!! I can't say it enough...Dang, I'm one LUCKY WOMAN!!

Update-age!!

Tomorrow, July 28th, my sister Nae, my nieces Delynna and Marli & my nephew Marvin are gonna be hitting the road. Before I go on, I want to thank my brothers Chase & Myles along with their wives Davynna & Keilah for allowing us to take their children to give them the chance to experience a reunion...so...THANKS guys!! Hahaha but moving on, we will be Cali bound for our 70th annual Fuimaono Family Reunion. Gosh...can you believe that?? What an accomplishment!! What other family can say that they have had an annual reunion for 70 years straight?? I am so grateful for my great great grandparents for accepting the gospel into their lives, for without that alone, I don't know what or who I would be. We'll be missing a couple of days of the reunion, but it's better to be late than never there at all, right? RIGHT!! =) I can't wait to see all my old family and to meet new ones. I know we're gonna have a GREAT time.

My sissy, Kelcey (aka Boo-Boo or Boo-Luv) has been in California since the beginning of this month, staying with Uncle Evans, Aunty Vera & their wonderful family. The house is not the same without her. Just to hear her loud laugh will make any of our days. After reunion, she's gonna be going to New Zealand to spend some time with Daddy. She'll be gone for 3 months. Holy cow!! That's forever huh?? I'm glad that she gets to have that experience. I wish we could all go, but the air fares to NZ are too dang expensive. They're usually about $1300, but Mom & I were able to find a deal on one for $961. It's still a lot of mula, but whatevz!! Thanks Daddy for helping out. She's a lucky cow!! Hahaha jk.

Summer has been killing us like no other (well me at least). I'm sure every other summer it's the same thing, but I just can't remember being so miserable during them like I am this year. Anyhow, thank goodness for central AC, or else I would've probably already killed myself (jk). My husband has been such a good sport about EVERYTHING, from all my trips to California and what not...to me going crazy over the heat, or just being grumpy because I'm hungry, etc. Whatever it may be, he always has a humble heart and he knows how to calm me down and make me happy again. He is my lifesaver and I don't know what I'd do without him. I'm not lying when I say he was truly made just for me!! He will go to the furthest distance just to make me happy. I love him with all that I have in me and more!! I'm so grateful that he provides for us, working countless hours, then coming home to have to deal with me. My poor Lovey!! I have me a GOOD MAN!!

All in all...I love my life & WHOLE family!! God is great always!!

..::Weather Report, GDO, Graduations, Music, Baby Shower::..

I don't understand this Utah weather & frankly, I don't think anyone does. It was snowing in the middle of May and all of a sudden its the beginning of June & it's hot as Hades here!! BUT...yes there's a but, I'm at work & I just printed the weather, it's supposed to be thunderstorming this weekend!!

Oh GREAT!! Just when I thought we were in the clear for nice weather, I planned to have a BBQ for my brother-in-law, Jon because he's moving to Hawaii (I know right?? I'm very J!!). Soooo now I have to call everyone up and cancel our plans due to the weather. PLUS we were planning on having it at Murray Park, but due to the thunderstorm we had just a couple of days ago...IT'S FLOODED!! I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I don't think the signs could be any clearer. Joseph & I are planning to take him to a nice dinner or something instead.

Moving on...My sister, Kelcey Ricci Muasau, just graduated from John Locke Academy on Friday (her *posting later*, then went and hung out at Aunty Lila's house with Lae & her fam as well as Aunty Blue who's visiting from Cali. Mom, Boo, Delynna & River ended up spending the night at my house while my husband was busting his butt for me on a 17 HOUR SHIFT (i love you babe). The next day, we took the girls swimming, picked up Marli & went on a date to Leatherby's to show the girls that there ARE huge sundae ice creams like on tv, and then went back to my house to go swimming for the second time =) *my nieces are some waterbugs, i tell ya* The rest of the day I spent resting for work that night.

Last night was my nephew (son of brother Myles & his wife Keilah) Mahonri's baby shower. Unfortunately, due to last minute changes and conflicts of dates, I wasn't able to attend because I had to rest for work...again!! I did manage to buy the cake for the shower, which come to think of, noone called me to tell me how it was...oh well. But I really do wish that I could've gone. Aunty Uini (aka Aunty Blue) flew up from SoCal just to be here for it. I didn't really get to spend any time with her and she leaves today =( I just hope that my cute lil nephew knows that I LOVE him so dearly!! He's such a handsome lil booger.

See this is the reason why I NEED to blog everytime I have something to blog about, so that I'm not writing a HUGE novel when I do get around to it. Sorry bout it!! Lol. I'm gonna leave on a note to tell you guys that if you have not yet heard or checked out the song *Poker Face* from Glee's "Theatricality" episode, you definately NEED to. As you already know, that song was made famous by Lady GaGa. But the version that they sing is so much better (just my opinion). You can actually hear the lyrics. It's an awesome song; they do a great job on it & it's VERY catchy, so don't say I didn't warn you. Dance to it, sing along with it, rock to it...whatever you do...just ENJOY it!!

Until next time...ToOdLeS & *Be Happy*!!
