Rant!

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way??

I can't stand when people feel as if their opinion is the ONLY right one. As if because I feel a certain way about something I'm in the wrong and I'll be punished for it. Yes, you have quotes and research from a million different people that back up what you say. But there are also a million other people that feel the exact opposite. And just because that group of people didn't write a book or give a public speech or become prophets, teachers or celebrities, etc. doesn't make their opinion any less valuable! You don't see me going and ragging on every opinion you have that doesn't match mine, do you? No! Because I respect everyone's own thoughts and actions. So please show me the same respect that I show you. Thank you and good-freakin-night!

*End of rant*

Whew now I feel better. =) I just needed to get it off my chest without anyone judging or being biased about the situation. Thank you blog journal thingy!

Mother-In-Law

Just thinking about how grateful I am to have such an awesome Mother-In-Law.

That is one thing I feared before I got married (when I was 🎶Young, Free & Single🎶) is if I was going to get along with my in-laws. Yikes!

Fortunately, I met my best friend & love of my life and he has a great family. Of course they're not perfect...but shiiiii, who is?!? They're just perfect AND crazy enough to be in my life. =)

Growing up I saw so many relationships between women and their m-i-l's that were so bad that it not only effected the wife's marriage or the husband and mother's relationship but also the children between them as well. Smh all bad, huh? Haha My family is far from perfect but hell what can you do, right? Lol

But we've been using a lot of our free time driving down to Spring City (approx 2 hours from where we live) and spending some QT with her. She's going through a lot of personal things right now and what she needs is our support and unconditional love. "No judging, just loving!" From day one she's always welcomed and loved me with wide opened arms and boy was that a relief for me when we got married.

Almost 5 years later and we're closer than we've ever been. She's teaching me to quilt, we both love cowboy caviar (but it has to be from Terrell's), we have our own one-on-one personal and inspirational talks & of course we always laugh together!

Thank you Mom for being such a great woman and another wonderful mother in my life. I love you.

..Father's Day Weekend..

This past weekend we decided to spend in Spring City at my in-law's home. It had been a while since we were there and I thought it would be a good idea for my husband to spend Fathers Day around his family instead of mine for a change; I'm SO glad we did. We had one of the best weekends together in a long time. We didn't do much but the company was great and let me tell you...mostly farms/ranches, it's beautiful! My mother-in-law is the cutest lady. I'm thankful to have been blessed with awesome in-laws! Not very many people can say that. =) Unfortunately my father-in-law wasn't there to celebrate Fathers Day with us due to work out of town, but we were definitely thinking about him. My sister-in-law Whitney and her husband John joined us for our last night there and it made it even more fun. We played a couple of games of Sequence (Stephan *our nephew that lives with my MIL* and I were on a team; won one & lost one). Then of course the usual "talk stories" until we were all ready to hit the sheets. Of course all weekend long was filled with family, laughter & ALWAYS great food!

{our walk around the block in Spring City}

Before I end this post I just wanted to wish a couple of "main men" in my life a happy Fathers Day!

My Daddy-Ricc Muasau
My FIL-Jeffrey Bleyl
My Momma (she played BOTH roles as a single parent raising 6 kids)-Ramona Muasau
My Uncles (who stepped up as father figures in my life when my dad wasn't around)-Pala Vaitu'u, Evans Iosua & Marvin Iloilo *r.i.p*
My Bruvs-Myles Muasau & Chase Muasau
>>last but not least<<
My Hubby-Joseph Bleyl ..we don't have kids of our own but thank you for always being there for our nieces and nephews whenever they need or want something. I know you'll make a GREAT daddy someday. I love you..

Let the fun times roll

The weather has warmed up...too dang much if you ask me & the kids are getting out of school. In other words...summer time is quickly approaching. Our family is going CAMPING! Bear Lake here we come. Our poor neighbor campers are gonna wanna strangle us because our family is SO dang loud, but whatevz. We're gonna have some FUN! =)

Tis the June season

Graduations!!

One down...a million more to go. Haha but here are the ones I'm actually attending:

Monday was Marvin's 1st grade graduation. He looked so happy and handsome.

Thursday is MarshallFaulk's 6th grade promotion. Yay! On to Jr. High. No longer a baby =(
{we ended up not going to Marshall's promotion because I had to work and by the time I got off to go see him, he already left to celebrate with his friends/family}

Friday was Marli's kindergarten graduation. My goodness how time flies. She's so smart!

***Side note***
I cannot stand making candy leis. Lol!
Good thing I was able to knock em all out while working the night audit shift this week.

(I'll post the other grad pics on a later post or update this one to include them)

Let's try this again!

Okay, so I've really been into reading a person's blog that for sure doesn't know who the heck I even am. If you would like to follow Jamie click here. =) While going through her posts (do I sound like a stalker? Eek!) I noticed that it seemed as if she posted when an event took place or if there was something on her mind. Her posts aren't UBER looonnnggg like mine. Which I think is the reason I tend to just STOP blogging. I felt that if I was gonna blog about something, I had to tell the whole story and explain everything..."ain't nobody got time for that." Lol so I'm attempting to blog again but from a whole different perspective. Wish me luck!

Cancer Sucks!!

Welp, a lot of things have happened in exactly a month...both my Aunty Eda & my Aunty Lisa lost their battles to cancer...and within 5 DAYS of each other. Talk about emotions!!

Unfortunately because Aunty Eda's funeral took place 3 days after she passed (that's how I like it) and she lived in California, I wasn't able to make it to her services. From the videos I've seen and stories I heard...everything was beautiful! But I was definitely there in spirit =) #TeamEda #TeamLimeGreen

Now on the other hand...since Aunty Lisa lived here in Utah, of course I was there to say my last goodbyes. Aunty Eda's funeral services were Sunday night and Monday morning. Tuesday morning is when Aunty Lisa passed. We knew the time was going to come...eventually, but nobody knew it would be THAT soon. And although we were expecting it to happen sometime sooner or later, it doesn't make it any better. Someone could have told me the exact date and time she was going to "go", but in all actuality you're NEVER really emotionally prepared. It's hard on your mind and body regardless!!

The funeral services were on Thursday night and Friday morning. Thursday was more of a life 'celebration' (indeed it was...singing/dancing, etc). Friday's services were simply beautiful!! We laughed, we cried, we sang and of course we ATE. Her final resting place is in Bountiful right next to the temple. The view is crazy pretty and although its way far, we know exactly why she chose that specific place. #TeamLisa #TeamPurple

Of course when "tragedy" strikes we get to see our family from near and far. It was so awesome to see everyone. Even my cousin Kimmie and her amazing parents came for the funeral. =) She is simply so amazing and beautiful!! It sucks that it takes hard times like these to bring us together, but that's life I guess and I'm going to try to change that!! =)

Even though some of our family members have passed on, I'm so grateful to have been born and raised in a religion where we can all be together again someday through the plan of salvation. Families truly are forever and eternal! Now it's OUR turn to do our work and make sure that there are "No Empty Chairs". *My mommy's favorite quote*

Enjoy the people you have in your life and cherish EVERY moment you have with them, because life is SO short and tomorrow is never promised.

I love my family!!
